The last months or so.......

Ok, so we all get so busy we don't have time to blog. I am sad about that, I love to read them all. Please lets try not to neglect the blogs. I know Facebook is fun and easy but we must keep these going.

Ok then on to what I have been doing the last month or so. These are not in order of course.....lol But here goes. Well mine and Abes 14th wedding anniversary was March 11th so this is what I came home to.....beautiful does not begin to explain them, they smell amazing and still love great. We did not do anything for our big day just hung out with the kids. This is Abby the day she went running around with Abe, he took her to get her nails done. So cute!!! He did not tell me he was doing it and she LOVED it! Pink with white pocka dots.
Well a couple weekends ago we met up with our friends at Sea World, it was alot of fun and perfect weather. Here is my favorite animal in the world SHAMU.........no need for words.

Abe and Javior took the kids (Abby and Nathen) on Abby cadaby ride and the other Sesame Street rides, they had a blast.

Birthday weekend!

Well.....I am so excited because Evie flys in tonight and Vicki is coming over after school and we are going to go out to dinner. I am so excited to spend my whole birthday weekend with my friends.

I Have always been told I DO NOT look my age. People actually act surprised when I tell them. I am one of those women who tells her age whenever someone asks. I have always felt proud that I have stayed out of the sun and I don't have wrinkles etc.......

BUT the last couple weeks I have been having a hard time with the 40th birthday. I think this is when you really know you are no longer a young woman. I am glad we have such young children because they keep me very young, I can't imagine what I would be doing during my free time if not for them.

I know age is just a # but now you have certain tests as a woman you have to take etc..........but the bottom line is I am sooooo grateful to be 40 or any other age I make it to! To have a loving husband that still thinks "I am hot"! and 3 amazingly healthy kids is too much to ask for. But I will take it and run into the next chapter of my life screaming "HERE I COME" I will enjoy every bit of it and savor the friends and family that have been there the whole time.

We are going out tonight, then to Disneyland (adults only) tomorrow and then the House Of Blues tomorrow night. Sunday I think Evie and I will catch a brunch before she has to fly home. :-( And then I will celebrate on my real birthday monday with my husband and kids......yahhhh.

So that is what I am doing this weekend........I am looking forward to seeing everyone on saturday night.

XOXO Julie

So..........whats going on?

So, I love drinking my coffee and reading all the blogs and facebooks BUT it seems like no one is blogging anymore???? That includes myself. WHY.........I know we all have alot going on and feel like we can't take the time to sit and blog but it is such a great thing.

For me I feel like no one is reading mine, I post and then I have people TELL me they read it but never comment. I think at least for me having the comments lets me know people are reading it.

So anyways on to blogging..........this Facebook thing is sooo great, you get to reconnect with people you have not seen or talked to in years. I did read a blog a couple months ago about how Facebook can hurt peoples feelings, I totally see how that can happen. You see peoples conversations and they have done this or that and you must feel left out. I have not had it happen to me YET but I'm sure it will.

Or you see someone on it that you never talked with but feel like you want to say "hi" but are afraid they will not respond back or something. It is all alittle silly if you ask me. I personally would like to talked to everyone, there is really no one I want to stay away from.

It is a great tool to reconnect and create friendships that might not have been if not for talking on Facebook, so for that I am glad. But I just don't want people to get away from blogging, I would be so sad if I could not sit down every morning and drink my coffee and read whats going on with everyone!
