Ok, so I stayed up on New Years eve alone to ring in the new year. Abe was still so sick that he fell asleep early. I made crab legs etc had a great, fun night planned. Well needless to say those plans went out the window. The kids were still sooo sick, Abby still had blisters in her mouth that were sooo painful, she crys constantly. Maddy now has them on her feet, will this ever end? So I sat up till midnight and I have to tell you it would have been great to have Abe awake to share it with but, honestly it gave me time to cry and think and really look back at the year I would never be in again. I have said that at this time last year (2007-08) I was miserable pregnant, I had a amazing pregnancy with Abby, but with the twins it was miserable. I never had a problem admitting that but now I do. It makes me so sad that I was not able to look beyond the discomfort and pain and take it for the amazing thing it was. I HAD 2 HEALTHY BABIES. That by the way, did not want to leave their comfortable spots. I carried them 39 weeks.........ughhhh. Anyways I look at the joy they have brought me and how funny, adorable and healthy they are and I just want to cry again. Abby is so great as well she is so sweet and funny and loving to her brother and sister it warms my heart. So I think this year I am going to try and STOP and appreciate everything GOOD and BAD and be thankful for it all. 10 years ago I would have told you Abe and we would not have a home with three beautiful children, I was so discouraged. So with that said: I am so thankful for my kids, my husband, my family, my friends and my relationship with the Lord. I will try my best to appreciate all of them!!!!!!!!!!
So at Gymboree they had a couple parties. This one I missed because the twins were sick, so Abe took Abby. It was a old fashion puppet show, with string dolls and everything. Abe said it was great and the kids LOVED IT!!!! I love the idea of bringing something we don't see that often back, and seeing the way the children love it the same as back in the days! She had a blast with all her friends as you can see in the pictures they are all sitting with full attention.
So here are the babies in their new cars........
Ok.....so is this what I am in for????? I swear IT IS a boy thing. Freddy just in the past 48 hours has managed to try and stand at our end table, fell forehead first giving him a huge bump right between the eyes. Then tried to stand at his crib and went down face first again and had a little red mark on his face. Then the big one was him standing at their changing table and missing and hitting his face AGAIN and now has a black eye...............
The poor guy is sooooo easy going he crys for about 15 seconds then just goes on his way. I am worried about him, he is a danger to himself. Meanwhile little Maddy is so cautious she rarely hurts herself, unless bubby hurts her while playing she never gets hurt. Yet my poor little guy always has some mark on him. I'm scared to see him at 10 yrs old, ughhhhhhhh!!! BUT he sure is handsome :-)
So we go to my brothers to decorate cookies and Abby had a great time. She loves to load the frosting and sprinkles on the cookies BUT will not eat them. She does not like cookies really, it is very funny.
Here is my mom, my nephews Michael, Matthew and Abby. It is cute Matthew is always huggin on Abby, they are great buddies.
Here is my mom with all the kids.......they had alot of fun.
So we took the kids to their Christmas party at Gymboree, they ahd alot of fun, we sang, played and hung out with our friends. The babies loved eating their bells.... I was disappointed with the Santa pictures, not the Santa he was really good but the backround was not what I hoped for. It was nice though because Santa gave the kids a gift (Abby wanted June from Little Einsteins).
