So, for the most part Abby has been doing great. Most of the time she goes potty in her chair, sometimes it is on the floor, or in her underwear...... Like today she was doing soooo good 3 times she went in her chair before 10:00am, then I went to check on her and she was sitting on her chair with her underwear on, I asked her what she was doing???? She said "going poop"! Poor thing thought she was doing so good but forgot to take her underwear off first. Oh well it was the thought that counts, right.
So as you all know I am frustated to no end, I am cleaning up poo and pee, shampooing the carpet every 5 minutes and taking care of 4 month old twins so needless to say I am a idiot for waiting this long to start this!!!!! I just felt to sick while pregnant, then did not want to throw to much at her with the birth of the babies so I waited..........well now it is just alot and somedays I feel like throwing in the towel and just keeping her in pullups forever, just line them up and change them like I do every morning......uuugggggggggg.
Well I must keep up the fight I know I have the m&m's, suckers, trips to the book store, the playground etc...... and it has worked. So wish me luck so I still have all my hair when this is over............how can I be frustated, she is in her playroom right now singing to her favorite movie Annie. How cute is that!!!!! That is a good lesson the sun will come out tomorrow..............

Don't give up and don't ever go back! Don't worry about the carpet/couch and everything else for now. When it's all over get it professionally cleaned. I went cold turkey with Caleb and it took over three weeks. We almost never left the house but I tossed the diapers and never looked back. I spent most of my days crying and cleaning but at the end of the three weeks he was TOTALLY potty trained, not half way, but all the way. And don't use pullups during the day. They feel just like underwear and don't do a thing. Let her know that's it! Good luck!
Thanks for the encouragement, I need it. Todays a new day and she already went.
Emily was so much harder for me than Brendan. She was so not interested. I remember being so frustrated. I used to buy her Ariel underwear because she was obsessed with that movie and then I'd tell her Ariel would be sad if she got her all wet. We had Hello Kitty stamps, M&Ms, all kinds of stuff. It's easier during summer when you can leave them in nothing but underwear. I can't tell you how many pair of undewear I threw away because they were just too gross to clean, not worth it. LOL. I think the key is to constantly be taking them to the bathroom, so often it's ridiculous, but it works because when they do go they get so excited. She'll get it. I agree with Angela, I only used pullups at night for bed but never during the day. Hang in there!
